Mr Adam Bodzioch retired from the South Australian public service in February 2007 after almost 40 years of service. His last 18 years were in senior executive roles in the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, Department for Water Resources and the Courts Administration Authority. He has wide-ranging experience in policy development, courts administration and in high-level consulting and project management work.

Mr Bodzioch has been the South Australian Government’s representative on the Council for the Order of Australia since 2002. He has a Bachelor of Business (with Distinction) from the University of South Australia and a Graduate Diploma in Law (Court Policy and Administration) from the University of Wollongong.

He is married to Wendy, has two grown-up children and lives in Adelaide. 

As a hobby, Mr Bodzioch is a passionate collector and grower of bromeliads which are plants native to South and Central America, and which thrive in constant warm and humid conditions. Adelaide’s cold wet winters and hot dry summers continue to pose unique challenges in getting his plants to not only survive but to adapt to those conditions.
